OUR STORY

Who We Are

HealthFund Solutions (HFS) was founded in 2016 by Karen and Michael Streets, alongside Chuck Kramer, with one clear mission: help uninsured individuals access the healthcare they deserve. After years of experience in healthcare services like Medicaid and eligibility, our founders identified a growing gap of individuals who earned too much to qualify for public programs but couldn’t afford private insurance. Without guidance, these patients faced complex processes and financial barriers that stood between them and essential care.

At HFS, we work to close that gap by partnering with hospitals and health systems to help uninsured eligible individuals secure coverage through federal, state, and county programs, as well as the Health Insurance Marketplace. By serving individuals navigating coverage decisions alone—one of the most vulnerable and often–overlooked populations in healthcare—we ensure patients can focus on their health, not the hurdles.
